Practice Information
Unrooted Counseling provides in person and virtual outpatient therapy services to individuals age 13+ and adult couples.
Individuals
We are in network with most major insurance companies, including Optum, BCBS, Health Partners, EverNorth (Cigna), First Health (Aetna), UCare, MHCP, and Hennepin Health.
Every plan is different; it is a client’s responsibility to check their specific plan to determine benefits (including possible deductible or copay) & any service limitations they may have prior to the initial appointment.
All payment is due at the time of service.
Private Pay is available for those wanting more flexibility in care or have an insurance company that Unrooted is not in network with. Superbills are available upon request.
Rates:
Initial Intake: $205
40-55 minute session: $170
20-40 minute session: $155
Couples
Private pay is required for all couples therapy.
This allows for more freedom in our therapeutic work together. Insurance companies often limit the flexibility of care (frequency, location, type, diagnoses, privacy, etc.), which can sometimes be a barrier to individualized goals & the heart of this practice.
All Payment is due at the time of service.

50-55 Minute Session: $185
So where are we at?

The Unrooted office is located in the North Loop of Minneapolis on the 3rd floor of the IDC Building, connected to Spoon & Stable.
If you are driving, please be aware that there is not a parking lot. You can either use metered street parking right outside the building, use one of the public ramps (Hennepin Avenue Ramp or Second and Second Ramp) a few blocks down, or look for free 4-hour parking on N 4th Avenue.
Although there is not a waiting room outside the office door, there is a lobby on the 1st floor right when you walk into the building. Please wait in the lobby until a couple of minutes prior to your appointment time before heading up to the 3rd floor.
